UFV AGRICULTURE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, CANADA

The Agriculture Centre of Excellence at the UFV campus in British Columbia operates a 600 sqm greenhouse. The structured is completely covered with Sunlite Plus multiwall polycarbonate panels which eliminates condensation drip. The 16 mm panels in white diffuser tint diffuse 95% of the natural daylight transmitted. The greenhouse is considered the tallest in North America and the first that can either to be pressurized or de-pressurized. The greenhouse incorporates features such as growth chambers and laboratories, and hosts research partnerships with biology and geography departments, and practical research with "friendly bugs".
