This greenhouse, where leafy greens are grown by hydroponic methods, is located north of the Black Sea where climatic conditions are extreme and temperatures range from -35°C to +40°C. Snow loads reach 150 kg/sqm in the winter. Suntuf Plus corrugated polycarbonate panels resists the high loads while allowing internal heating to melt the snow, whereas Sunlite Plus multiwall polycarbonate sheet panels provide thermal insulation to preserve the heat. Both panel types have anti-condensation treatment which reduces condensation drip.
